The Story of One, Every One

Every one has a story. A singularity of our own.

Somehow, somewhere, someway each of us was offered an opportunity to live a story first-hand: “my” story, “your” story, “our” story. The story of “this” or “that.” Experience.

Each story is a voyage into the vastness of limitation. The infinity that can only be understood through a dance with the finite.

The opportunity of a lifetime, which is the purpose of any life limited by time:

A Story of One.

A story that cannot be known without experience: a once-in-a-lifetime mind, body, and circumstance. Every moment brings life to an infinite past. Every choice animates an uncertain future. A mystery that is always unfolding.

Within this story one creates what no other one can; our unique blend of beauty and tragedy, grief and joy, loss and abundance, freedom and restraint.

Regardless of whether or not there is an afterlife, reincarnation, or something else beyond this limiting experience…

To live in this time, in this body, surrounded by these people…this life’s story can only be once.

This truth wraps the purpose of our Story of One into itself–to create, to be, and to live as one, among every other one. One’s upon a time. An end in itself. A short, poignant story.

Every one, ever present within the tiniest spec of life–one being. Meant, to be.

No destination beyond being, here, now.

Then, one encounters the unknown, the Great Beyond–every thing and every one outside one’s story.

One becomes many. Worlds collide and divide.

Each collision, every one, is a regeneration. Creating what no one can; an infinity of entanglement. Stories that intertwine across, between, and beyond any one’s time and place.

This entanglement offers gifts that would be inconceivable as one: pain and healing, ignorance and awareness, love and ambivalence, purpose and emptiness, ostracism and belonging, envy and gratitude. To know any of these is to experience the other.

Perpetual collision and regeneration create a reality of entanglement, a breath out:

The Story of Every One

Every one is unknown. Every one is unpredictable.

Within this story one becomes vigilant.

One judges, protects, isolates, predicts, expects, and attaches. One understands trust and fear, “us” and “them,” “mine” and “yours.” One unites with any one or any thing that offers respite from fear; protection from every one.

Systems ensure that one is unaffected by the unknown: laws, governments, organizations, rules, regulations…Striving to be all powerful and all knowing, through full control.

Promising what can never be. Attempting to bind what is already bound. Forcing fragile shells around what is already whole.

Each attempt fails, every one. Because that’s how entanglement works. When particles are entangled a change in one inevitably changes the other. As if the two are actually one. Time, distance, and insurance benefits are irrelevant.

Our nature shatters every shell. The promise of control is broken. The Story of Every One no longer serves any one.

One trusts. One forgives.

One compassionately opens to every one.

One’s judgments, of better than and separate from, begin to dissolve.

Releasing control to fill with ease. Uncovering truth to heal. Offering understanding to awaken. Loving unconditionally to unconditionally belong.

Life, without conditions, creates a reality of resonance:

The Story of One, Every One

Every one is known. Every one is free. Every one belongs.

Within this story one loves.

One accepts each once-in-a-lifetime mind, body, and circumstance. Its frailty and its limits, its strength and potential. The conditions that have allowed all of this, experience.

One acts with intention to create harmony and alignment: mind, body, and spirit; head, heart, and hand; thought, feeling, and behavior; one and every one.

Each act resonates beyond what any one can perceive.

One turns inward, connecting every cell, every thought, and every belief. Each choice is bathed in awareness. Opening an insatiable search for more: more understanding, more awareness, more depth, more life.

In this search much is lost. The layers of what once was, the conditions of one’s story, are shed.

In this search something much bigger is found–still, within. The power of being, enough.

One laughs at the truth: It was here, the whole,****** time!

A simple path unfolds. One looks forward to the beginning. Holding sacred the billions of once-in-a-lifetime stories gathered within, here, now.

One returns, a breath in. One remembers, All

One story, told through every one.

And can’t resist…just one more time! One more story.

Wishing to experience infinity through another dance with another finite.

One forgets, to discover. One’s purpose is wrapped in another Story of One.

Meant, to become. One. Every One.
